For those who want extra adventure on a boat tour of Kauai's coastlines, try choosing a raft for your boat. Rafting has come a long way here on Kauai. Although you can still choose the traditional rubber raft which will be bumpy and wet, we now have the rigid hull rafts which provide a surprisingly smooth ride. You may sit on a pontoon close to the water in the front of the boat, or you may prefer the more stable ride in the back seats. Wherever you sit, you will enjoy a zippy, kick-in-the-pants kind of tour! Because these boats are, shall we say more lively, they are much stricter about health conditions, such as back problems, recent surgeries and pregnancies. If you are up to the challenge, go for it!
